For over 20 years, I have guided people through difficult transitions in their lives, helping them recognize and meet the challenges that come with life change. I have been a lifelong learner in the area of mental health and counselling, beginning with a Bachelors in Social Work, and a Masters degree specializing in Health. I have received specialized training working with adolescents and older adults, and have used my interdisciplinary skillset to help people through crisis and often high risk situations. Now, it’s my mission to help you through your transition, using my experience and education to guide you towards peace of mind.

Areas of focus
Through my experiences in providing counselling and therapy I have been struck by the pivotal changes that occur when people face key transitional times in their lives. I am passionate about guiding clients through these times of change, as they explore new opportunities and discover their inner strengths.
Some of the transitional moments I have worked with clients on are:
— Empty nesting
— Approaching or retirement
— Receiving a diagnosis
— Baby (postpartum)
— Employment change
— Aging parent
I understand that transitional times may initially impact our mental health and can often lead to a diagnosis of anxiety and/or depression. As a former clinician, this isn’t something out of my depth. We will work through this together.
